Au Nafeie, owner of Gas and Food Inc., recently purchased 1.25 acres of property owned by the Port of Ridgefield at the Ridgefield junction.

The land is located east of and adjacent to the Chevron gas and convenience station, abutting Timm Rd.

According to Scott Fraser, real estate broker for Colliers International who represented both parties, the parcel was on the market for three years, and sold for $301,000.

Although Nafeie owns Chevron gas stations in Ridgefield, near the fairgrounds exit and at the Junction, the property is zoned for restaurant/motel use.

Fraser said Nafeie is unclear at this time as to what he will use the land for, but is not likely to pursue building this year.

Two additional parcels at the Junction are for sale by the Port. A 1.3 acre parcel for $370,500 and a 3 acre plot for $855,000 are both zoned commercial, Fraser said.
