CONSULTANTS SELECTED FOR RIDGEFIELD PLANNING GRANT
Normandeau Associates, an environmental consulting and management firm and Maul Foster Alongi, an engineering, planning and landscape architecture company have been selected by the City of Ridgefield and Port of Ridgefield, as consultants for an Integrated Planning Grant. The $100,000 grant was recently awarded to the City in partnership with the Port, from the Washington State Department of Ecology. Monies will be used by the City of Ridgefield and the Port to facilitate the development of a strategic plan defining the needs, opportunities, available resources, formal and informal partnerships, and actions necessary to redevelop and revitalize Ridgefield’s downtown and Lake River waterfront. The City of Ridgefield will act as lead agency on the grant and funds must be expended by June 30, 2011.
